Who we are

Memento is made by HM Dev Studio. If you have any question about your privacy, email admin@mementoapp.online.

What we collect

• Account: your full name, email address and password, handled by Google Firebase Authentication. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• Sign-up details: your age, gender and country. These are stored on your device only (and inside your Google Drive backup if you use backups).
• Your content: documents, page images, extracted details and notes you save. These are stored in Memento's private storage on your device.

How Memento reads your documents

When you capture or import a document, Memento reads it for you: its page images are sent to Google's Gemini models through Firebase AI Logic so the details can be filled in for you. The images are used only to produce that result for you. Google processes them under its Gemini API and Firebase terms. We do not use your documents for advertising or to train models.

Backups

Google Drive backup is optional. When you turn it on, Memento writes a backup file to your own Google Drive. The app uses Google's "drive.file" permission, so it can only see files it created itself, never the rest of your Drive.

Security checks

Memento uses Firebase App Check to confirm that document-reading requests come from the genuine app. This helps stop abuse and does not identify you personally.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. Memento has no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Notifications

Reminders are calculated on your device from the dates you save. No reminder data is sent to our servers.

Keeping and deleting your data

You can delete any document or note at any time. Deleting your account (Profile > Account settings) removes your sign-in and all documents and notes stored on the device. Google Drive backups stay in your Drive until you delete them there.

Children

Memento is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
