Your files stay on your device
Every tool works inside your browser. Photos, PDFs and the details you type are processed on your phone or computer and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. We don't keep copies, and we can't see them.
No accounts
The tools don't need an account. Your browser may keep the background-removal model in its cache so it doesn't download again; you can clear it with your browser data.
Visitor statistics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used: how many people visit, which pages, guides and tools they open, roughly which country they're in, and what kind of device and browser they use. It uses cookies and similar technology to tell visits apart. Google Analytics 4 doesn't store IP addresses.
Analytics never receives your files or anything you type into a tool, because those never leave your device.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off unless you agree to them. Anywhere, you can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies, or with a content blocker. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Ads and cookies
To keep the tools free, the tools and guides pages show ads served by Google AdSense. The Memento app and the rest of mementoapp.online don't show ads.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Ads and cookies never get your files: what you open in a tool is processed on your device and isn't sent to us, to Google or to anyone else.
Your choice
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent message before analytics or personalised ads use cookies. Ad blockers also work on these pages; the tools keep working either way.
